As with the resources listed on our other pages, some of these resources may be region-specific, so please be sure to check your local area for resources available near you. AIDS Legal Referral Panel – ALRP is one of the most beloved agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area; provides legal representation and referrals to people living with HIV/AIDS in a wide variety of cases
AVERT – Clearinghouse of HIV and AIDS-related organizations throughout the U.S.
Bay Area Young Positives – Organization helps HIV+ youth (26 and under) to lead longer, healthier, happier lives
Black Coalition on AIDS – Mission of the organization is to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and to end healthcare disparities in the Black community
Face to Face Sonoma County AIDS Network – Sonoma County, California’s largest HIV/AIDS organization; resource for direction to other Sonoma County and North Bay, California organizations
Marin AIDS Project – HIV-related services to citizens of Marin County, California
Metropolitan Community Church – Beloved church ministering primarily to the LGBT community; excellent resource even if one is non-denominational
Native American AIDS Project – Using traditional native methods, organization offers healers to its clients who have been ostracized by western forms of medicine
PAWS – Pets Are Wonderful Support – PAWS provides for comprehensive services for low-income persons with HIV/AIDS
Stop AIDS San Francisco – Organization conducts many activities around HIV prevention throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
U.S. National AIDS Hotline & Resources – Site contains many national resources as well as state-by-state resources; a good clearinghouse of HIV-related information
